Where do I Install the Pressure Regulator?

Typically regulators are put on the spigot before the hose.  This will limit pressure in the hose and the filter system as well as the RV plumbing.   Below are some situations where you might make an exception:

• If you have a hose that has a high pressure rating, over 150 PSI, then you can put it on the input of the filter system, on the other end of the hose.   
• If you are on a well, they usually have a pressure regulator on it, so pressure is capped by the pump from the well.
• If you have chronically low pressure, under 50 PSI, you can put the regulator after the filters and before the RV to maximize both the pressure going through the filters and going into the RV

Note: If the regulator is to be left outside in the weather and elements, Stainless steel screws and oil filled gauges are recommended to prevent rust.
